As AWS ReInvent continued to grow, I was put in charge of all rooms and sessions in the Wynn Encore Resort. Our venue ran bootcamp sessions as well as meals and Keynote overflow. AWS wanted to record all of their sessions to post online following the conference for developers to use to learn how to work with their technology. This made a typical breakout rig somewhat complicated as each room featured multiple switchers and signal routing to accommodate BYOD presentations and live PIP recording.
For this conference, we introduced a digital signage platform that ran over the Internet and covered multiple hotel venues. The Encore was a fantastic place to work and has the best crew food on the road!
